Governance
Interventions grouped under governance examine ways that forests are be managed and governed. Forest governance can be by a collective or individual i.e. by communities, public or the private sector. Activities that focus on sustainable land management, protected areas, community-based management, conservation policies, payments for ecosystems schemes and agroforestry are all included here. Sub-groups of interventions are classified by the ownership and management structures.
